Every project is measured in many ways. Here you will find relevant information to quantify the investment made by the Program, as well as amounts in infrastructure, social art processes for behavioral change, and finally, in strengthening and promoting the local economy.

Budget

$20,064,120 executed out of a total investment goal of $22.5 million dollars by June 30, 2022.

Systemic Results

Water and sanitation access coverage results

144,453 people have benefited from water and/or sanitation infrastructure.
– More than 250 rural and peri-urban communities have benefited in Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua and Paraguay.
– 179,868 people have obtained sustainable access to water, sanitation and/or hygiene (WASH).

Social Art for Behavior Change results:

A few results from the start of the Program to the mid-term evaluation:

13% increase in the practice of hand washing with soap and water at key times.
34% increase in the proper payment of water service fees
9% increase in the treatment of drinking water at home
12% increase in the safe storage of drinking water at home
195,919 people have participated in the Social Art for Behavior Change (SABC) intervention.

Microcredits

2,181 Microcredits and direct support to micro and small businesses. (total goal of 1,498), by June 2022.

A Program designed and developed from and for sustainability

Sustainability is the main objective of the A-B-C Model and a determinant to result on empowered communities with skills, knowledge and installed capacities.

In this way, they are equipped with the knowledge to operate, manage and maintain the solutions that have been created with, by and for them. When human beings are at the center of the interventions, they become managers of their own change.
